A box of chocolate..sitting right in front of you...waiting for you to have that first bite. It looks good but what you don't see is what you don't know. Know that moment when you bite into chocolate and its not what you expected, it either taste good or bad. That's how i see people. People are like a box of chocolate. They all have different shapes, sizes, color, taste. Why do we judge people on what they look like on the outside? Its pretty interesting to me how we judge each other on the outside before we really get to know them. Why do we judge people by groups (poor, rich etc)? Is it fair that some people get treated better than others? In my eyes someone's words is worse than someone's action. Words are powerful enough to make us or break us. For example if someone makes hate about you the way you look or the way you dress or what ever the case is...from what people say and judge us makes us love our selves or hate our selves. Honestly i think the only reason we judge people around us just b/c there different. If we were all the same size, shape, color...life wouldn't be such a fun. My dream or goal is to stop racism in our community or even in our world. The most sad part about this is little kids are being influenced from grown ups at such a small age. Its like the older people think its good to teach them that there different than you so don't talk to them or like them. And as they grow up they are building this wall and the wall keeps getting bigger and bigger and bigger. When will someone put a stop to it and break that wall for good? Will it be too late? Who will break that wall?
''So no matter what you been throughNo matter what you into
No matter what you see when you look outside your window
Brown grass or green grass
Picket fence or barbed wire
Never ever put them down
You just lift your arms higher
Raise em till' your arms tired
Let em' know you're their
That you struggling and survivin' that you gonna persevere
Yeah, ain't no body leavin, no body goin' home
Even if they turn the lights out the show is goin' on!'' ~ lupe fiasco *show goes on*
