So I've never been one to blog but like they say there's a first time for
everything, right? Sometimes I find it hard to write down my thoughts because I feel like they stream in so fast that I cant keep up with my self by writing them down.
Anyways, one thing that really opened up my mind was the whole
Malcolm X discussion during the second week. I feel like it just goes to show how amazing his self motivation was. No one told him to practice his penmanship or learn more words. It was him alone who realized his own faults. I feel that most of the time you can be your own motivation and inspiration. Another thing that really got me thinking was the question regarding words and how they have the power to either oppress or inspire. The power of words is so amazing. Some of the most important and known people in history are those who were very eloquent and had good speaking skills. Our very own Prophet Muhammed p.b.u.h. was able to
inspire so many people from his many speeches and what not. I feel like words can equally oppress. For some the emotional pain from words overpowers that of physical pain. All in all deciding to join DMH was a great decision. It opens up my mind in ways that really makes me think. Well, that's about all I have on my mind at the moment. Until next time. : )
