I don't think I've met an adolescent who adores politics the way I do, that is yet to come. Many people think that the way America's voting system is arranged is unfair. Most think this due to the Electoral College. What do you think? Should America abolish the Electoral College and allow the final vote for running presidential candidates be up to the citizens, and ONLY the citizens? Comment, tell me what you think?
Nabintou's Opinion: I am no expert in politics. I know very little compared to a well-experienced politician, but I do plan to become that well-experienced politician one day. If I were to choose a side on a debate with this as the topic I would definitely say NO the Electoral College should NOT be abolished when it comes to choosing the president. Some people would base their argument on the Electoral College being abolished by saying something such as "America claims it's a country of the people and for the people, so why can't we vote for running candidates directly?" I think that these people sort of don't know what they’re talking about because if you think about it, what is the Electoral College made up of? Representatives and senators, correct? Representatives and senators that we THE PEOPLE chose. Do we not trust these law makers that we picked/voted for? Also, not to mention, these law-makers are well-experienced politicians. Agreed or disagreed? Comment please!
