WOW! is all i can really say. I seriously wonder why is something that is completely wrong never actually "wrong" until one individual steps up and speak out against it. Our society is to brainwashed with this concept and we seriously need to fight out against it. Why are we so intimidated to stand up for something we know is absolutely wrong. Ok so its been almost a year now and i and few other adults have been witnessing firsthand physical abuse towards certain people. I'm not sure whether its just my human nature that i didn't actually stand out against it, so anyhow months have gone by and each situation has became worse than before and still no action. So today to me was just the last straw and my heart or eyes just simply couldn't take it anymore. I actually had to stop myself from bursting into tears. Enough was enough and i just cant understand how we know something is wrong but wont do anything about it. When will enough "REALLY" be enough seriously; i never ever want to witness something like again..! I felt that it was so uncalled for. Out of the 5+ adults there not even one of them stood up against it which was really sad to me instead one teen out of all the 70+ people their stood up.This reminds of the murder of Kitty Genovese where there were numerous witnesses but no one stood up and scientist have come up with possible reasons as to why they didnt stand up. one report said; "People are uncertain; people are afraid to make waves; people are afraid they’ll make a bad situation worse; people aren’t sure they’ll do the right thing; people fear they’ll just make a stink and end up humiliated themselves We live in such a society where people dont do anything until its entirely TOO late..! We keep waiting and hoping the situation will get better but what we don't know is we are actually waiting for it to get worse. Then when we actually do try to stop it, its hard because the situation is much worse than what we thought it was. Its really sad and i think we all need to wake up and open our eyes.I'm speaking for my culture on this part but I really hate how the adults think its ok to blatantly beat someone else's child and find it perfectly normal. Certain cultures and traditions are not as effective as they think they are and each generation is getting more modern than the next one.Why is it when a child is 1000% correct or right about something they are perceived as 1000% incorrect simply because they are a child and the adult is always right.
