Choosing one religious practice as i do being a muslim is namaz. Namaz is the key to a future in jannat which means heaven. I pray five times a day and do 17 rakath. The first two rakath are prayed in the early morning after you wake up for Sehri (Eating time to begin fast) and is called Fajar. That one is ALWAYS the hardest just because its so early. Then in the afternoon two namaz's take place and are each four rakath and are called Zuhar and Asar. After you open your Aftar (Opening fast) we read Magrib and Isha which are three and four rakaths. It may on the take five minutes for each prayer but in those five minutes it is just you and your god or "Allah" alone. Also namaz helps connect a bond with allah and we pray to god because he has given us life and that is how we repay him. Also reading namaz is wajib on you as a muslim just like fasting. I pray mostly because my parents tell me to but i feel like once they get me in the habit of it i will start to realize in the future what it really means and how it would affect me.
