When we got there we got a sneak peak of the beach then we came back to build our tent. Little things like this helped us bond together. Then after we ate lunch and got energized we were back to the beach for some beach volley ball the funniest part was when we played dodgeball it was sooo much fun... After that we went swimming and i felt like I overcame my fear of water a little bit, it was a blast. Then had a reading excercise and we got to watch the sunset...We had a bonfire and told stories while enjoying some good old smores mmm! :) then we watched the stars how beautiful they were soo gorgeous since we could actually see them, something that we would never see in the city with all these bright lights.
The next day we went kayaking. Omg i will NEVER ever forget this it was maybe theee funniest memories i had the whole trip, i think it actually help me bond with tahany more since we never really do. I find it sooo hilarious how we were the first ones to head back to shore but ended up being the last ones there... I nearly went nuts when i saw one by one everyone passing us by but thats wat teamwork is called you cant do most things without teamwork i feel if we had worked together more instead of me getting frustrated we would have been just fine.
After that hectic but funny event we were all good and had some ice cream compliments of Leslie... Then we were on our way home... All the activities we did felt like we were there more than just two days. It was all so much fun and i would love to do the expirience all over again. Those 48 or so hours together brought out sides in us i never seen before and im glad i got to know everyone just a tad bit better even the allies i really cant stresss enough how much fun it was it was spectacular. I got to bond with all of the fellows and things will be much different on our next session.
Thanks Minds and Hearts for giving me a great time to remember forever... :)
